Guybrush Threepwood, Adventure-Held der ersten Stunde, kehrt nach mehr als zehn Jahren endlich mit Tales of Monkey Island™ zurück. Mit dem neuen „Point & Click“-Adventure von Telltale Games und LucasArts Entertainment Company LLC wird eine der bekanntesten Spiele-Reihen fortgesetzt, die mit ihren legendären Charakteren und einfallsreichem Humor seit Jahrzehnten begeistert. Daedalic bringt Tales of Monkey Island jetzt komplett lokalisiert mit deutscher Sprachausgabe in den Handel.

In Tales of Monkey Island bekommt es Guybrush, der vor 20 Jahren in The Secret of Monkey Island erstmals auszog um ein mächtiger Pirat™ zu werden, erneut mit seinem dämonischen Widersacher LeChuck zu tun. Doch beim Versuch seinen ewigen Gegenspieler endgültig zu besiegen, lässt Guybrush aus Versehen einen verheerenden Voodoo-Fluch los, der nicht nur die Piraten der Karibik, sondern auch seine linke Hand befällt…

Affenstarker Humor, ein Kanonenschuss Romantik und Entermesser-Action vom Feinsten: Tales of Monkey Island erzählt eine epische Geschichte in fünf Kapiteln voller Wendungen und Überraschungen. Erdacht und entwickelt wurde das neue Affeninsel-Abenteuer unter anderem von Dave Grossman, Michael Stemmle und zahlreichen weiteren ehemaligen LucasArts-Mitarbeitern, die bereits maßgeblich an The Secret of Monkey Island und Monkey Island™ 2: LeChuck’s Revenge™ mitwirkten. Ebenfalls mit an Bord: Norman Matt, bekannte Stimme von Möchtegern-Pirat Guybrush aus den deutschen Versionen von The Curse of Monkey Island™ und Flucht von Monkey Island™.

Tales of Monkey Island ist ab sofort überall im deutschsprachigen Handel erhältlich und wird von der EuroVideo Medien GmbH Bildprogramm GmbH vertrieben. Das PC-Adventure vereint alle fünf bisher nur als Download erhältlichen Episoden von Telltale in einem Komplettpaket inkl. digitalem Bonusmaterial. Für Liebhaber von Originalversionen ist außerdem die komplette englische Sprachausgabe enthalten.

Als besonderen Leckerbissen für Sammler und langjährige Fans veröffentlicht Daedalic eine Version des Spiels im größeren Eurobox-Format der guten, alten Zeit. Die auf 3.000 Stück limitierte Auflage ist exklusiv im deutschen Games-Fachhandel und in Österreich erhältlich.
